Silhouette Studio V5 is the newest release of the Silhouette software and it comes with some changes including hiding tools if you are working in the default mode. Read on for how to fix it and get your tools back.
Silhouette Studio's "Starter Mode" is a toggle switch at the top of the software that only shows tools that the manufacturer deems necessary for beginners.
This includes tools like the Page Setup Panel and the newly added Registration Marks panel.
When in Starter Mode the Nesting Tool and Warp, among others, are hidden.
However, each tool that is displayed is labeled.
The problem is, "Starter Mode" is the default which means, beginner or not, if you don't know to turn off starter mode you'll be wondering why your tools seem to be missing.
To turn off starter model simply toggle the switch at the top of the Silhouette Studio V5 software and you'll notice your full list of tools will re-appear.
