If you're looking for easy sublimation printing, I've found the printer that basically maintains itself (without wasting a ton of ink) and recovers quickly when it stop printing.

I have at least five different sublimation printers including the Epson F570, Epson F170, Sawgrass SG400, and SG1000.  After years of using all of them, I can confidently say: the easiest sublimation printer to maintain is the Epson F570 sublimation printer. Read on to learn more!

The Epson F570 is a 24-inch desktop model that's a TRUE sublimation printer - built specifically for sublimation, not converted. That makes a huge difference when it comes to troubleshooting printing issues and getting quality prints and vivid colors.

Why the Epson F570 Is So User-Friendly

One of the things that makes this Epson sublimation printer super intuitive is its large display screen. It literally tells you exactly what to do - not only for easy setup but also for maintenance.

For years I've had my Epson F570 at my house, but I recently moved it to my studio so I could use it more regularly.

Since it hadn't been used regularly for about six months, I needed to get it printing again.

When I tried the first print, the nozzle check showed it had clogged nozzles.

Guided Maintenance with the Epson F570 Sublimation Printer

This is where the F570 Epson printer becomes so easy to use and maintain: The screen actually tells you exactly what the next step should be when your printer isn't printing correctly or is missing colors. It prompts each action, making it maintenance super easy even if you're a total beginner to sublimation printing.

So in this case - it asked me what the nozzle check looked like. I selected the option showing missing nozzles and then it suggested a head cleaning.

After the head cleaning, the printer suggested another nozzle check.

This time the nozzle check came out perfect. This means the head cleaning worked!

So, if you're looking for a sublimation printer that starts up reliably even if you don't use it daily (or even monthly!) the Epson F570 is my top pick. It doesn't hurt the sublimation ink for the F570 is a fraction of the compared to competitors.

TIP: You can use my free sublimation cost calculator to see how much sublimation jobs cost with the same paper and substrate but Sawgrass vs Epson ink. I think you'll be surprised.

Check out my video below for a closer look at how to easily maintain the Epson F570 sublimation printer even if it's been sitting unused for months.
