This step by step tutorial will show you exactly how to print from the new Sawgrass Print Utility.

Before you send your first sublimation print, make sure you have gone through the tutorials for how to install Sawgrass Print Utility and how to set up the Sawgrass Print Utility settings

When you're ready start in the Create tab of Sawgrass Print Utility.

In the files section you can either drag and drop one or multiple files or you can click Add Files and then navigate to the files you want to import.

For your first print I would suggest you just import one file and I would suggest it be a PNG.

Don't worry if you don't see your image after you import your file. If it's too big it won't appear in the preview area - which is the case here and why we are getting the error message "Item will not fit with current paper size selection."

Check the box to Fit to Paper Size and a preview of your image will appear.

Now you can change the dimensions by entering them into the width and height fields. Keep the dimension/ratio link connected so they adjust proportionally.

You can also rotate your image if you want to.

Now it's time to go through the Print settings. Since you already set up the universal Sawgrass Print Utility settings, to get the best prints from your Sawgrass printer, your default options should be selected already. You can change any of them for this job though.

Start by clicking the Select a Preset dropdown.

When you're ready click "Print" to begin printing from Sawgrass Print Utility to your Sawgrass SG500 or SG1000 sublimation printer.
