You can take your sticker sheets up a notch by replacing the boring white background with a fun pattern by making pattern sticker sheets.
This is relatively easy to do in Silhouette Studio. Follow the steps below to create your own custom sticker sheets with a pattern background.
Start by setting up your stickers with a white edge. This tutorial will walk you through that part of the process step by step.
For both parts of this tutorial I used a set of cheerleading stickers from So Fontsy's Fall Sports SVG Bundle.
Once you get to that point select the offset line around each sticker and give it a solid white fill. This will make sure that area is not filled with the pattern we are going to put on the sticker sheet itself.
If you haven't already, use the Draw a Box tool to draw a rectangle shape around your stickers. This will be the cut line for the sticker sheet itself.
Change the line color of that square or rectangle to anything other than the same color as the sticker line color. In this case I'm making the sheet line color green.
Select the square cut line and open the Fill panel from the right sidebar. The third tab on the panel is for Fill Patterns. The default patterns and your custom digital patterns will all be here.
Select a pattern to fill the sticker sheet. Don't panic if your stickers disappear - just right click the box > Send to Back.
Now when you go to the Send panel if you select the Cut By Line color option you'll be able to set the green cut line around the sticker sheet to die cut (Clear Sticker Settings). Then select the cut line color around the white border and set that to kiss cut sticker settings (White Sticker Paper).
I print and cut these sticker sets on Online Labels sticker paper and I LOVE how they came out...as always.
