If your iColor 560 White Toner printer is printing blue instead of black - there's a quick and easy fix in ProRip Essentials.
The iColor white toner printers are four cartridge laser printers with the an option fifth cartridge that can be swapped out.
The four main cartridges when printing transfers where white toner is needed are CMY+W. That means there's no black cartridge. (A black cartridge is included and is useful in lots of other ways to use the white toner printer.)
For this reason, it's a combination of the cyan + magenta + yellow toners that print black. But if the black in the image isn't read as true black then you get a blue tint like you see here.
So how do you fix it when your iColor 560 white toner printer is printing blue instead of black.
The trick is to use the Color Replace tool.
By the way, the adorable pack of stained glass Christmas designs can be found here.
With the image imported into iColor ProRip or ProRip Essentials right click and select Color Replace.
Under the "Old Color" panel select "Add Color to Remove/Replace".
Notice the old color and new color and you'll see that the color codes are not the same. The old color had a hint of blue in it but you've fixed it now by replacing all of those areas with true dark black.
I used these adorable stained glass snowman designs to print hard surface transfers on my iColor 560 that I used to make clear acrylic ornaments which were cut with my xTool P2 laser cutter.
