What To Do If You Can't Ungroup in Silhouette Studio

Did you ever have a design or font in Studio Studio that you can't ungroup, but you need to remove some cut lines?

Fear not! Read on for this trick on how to remove unwanted cut lines when ungroup is grayed out in Silhouette Studio.

Let's say you're making stickers or transfers and you only want the outside border of the design or font to be cut...but you have some nagging internal cut lines you just can't get rid of.

If ungroup is grayed out, right click and select Release Compound Path instead.

It's like magic! Now you can select the individual internal cut lines and delete what you don't want.

Now you only have one single cutline around the outside edge of your design!
