Did you know Silhouette Studio has a split screen view with the library and work area making it super easy to view, open and layout your designs?
This is one of those little know features, like image effects, that often get overlooked but are oh-so-useful. Read on for how to use split screen.
With the Design area open, find the small folder and arrow in the bottom left corner of your software.
If you click it, it will open up the split screen view. You can now view your library and the work area simultaneously.
Select a folder from your library and those designs will display. To open a file in the Design area, right click the library file and click "Merge." Selecting "Open" will open it in a new work area instead of the one you're viewing.
If you prefer you can also view the library files in a list instead of as thumbnails by changing the view mode.
Right click and select Merge on as many design files as you want to add to your work area.
Here I was building a gang sheet in Silhouette Studio to use to print and cut t shirt transfers with my Roland BN2-20A.
The t shirt images are all from two sets of Western Halloween and Christmas designs included in So Fontsy's Western Bundle.
