Custom is always going to be a craft show best seller and here's an on-the-spot idea that will be forming a line at your booth!
Custom cut AND sublimated earrings and keychains - and they take no more than 5 minutes from start to finish if you have the right equipment.
The xTool F1 portable laser has become pretty popular with craft show sellers. But the xTool F1 Ultra laser can cut even more materials and it's still portable!
The ability for the xTool F1 Ultra to laser cut sublimation hardboard means you can cut custom sublimation blanks on the spot. Earrings, keychains, and ornaments are always popular especially with a name, monogram, or with a local connection.
Here's a supply list for everything you'll need to make sublimated keychains.
Use the F1 Ultra to laser cut the sublimation blank.
I like to cut from the back to avoid charring. Just make sure if you do this you mirror the image in xTool Creative Space.
There is a little flame so be sure to use your air filter to avoid smoke and keep a close eye on your laser.
Bring some pre-printed sublimation transfers with you in trendy and seasonal patterns along with plenty of high temperature tape. The one I'm using is actually a tumbler sublimation wrap pattern.
Alternatively you could sublimate onto the hardboard prior to cutting.
After the sublimation blanks are cut, secure them to the sublimation transfer with the tape.
Bring a portal heat press that goes up to at least 400 degrees as well. The 9x12 pink craft press or xTool's new 3-in-1 Smart Heat Press will both work. Set the press to 400 degrees at 60 seconds.
Place the transfer paper side up to hit the top platen and press!
When the time is up, remove the sublimation paper.
