Want to cut off a roll but not sure how to set up the CAMEO 5 roll feeder? You're in the right spot.
The Silhouette CAMEO 5 roll feeder is included with the machine, but it's not built in. Read on to learn how to attach the roll feeder.
The CAMEO 5 roll feeder attaches to the front bottom of the vinyl cutting machine, but you'll need to remove a cover piece to access the attachment point.
Flip up your machine and you'll find two tabs with a lock and unlock icon next to them. These tabs need to be unlocked to remove the long cover piece.
With the tabs unlocked and cover removed, the roll feeder will easily slot into place. Although it doesn't officially hook in, there are slots that hold it securely.
To load a roll of material into the feeder, you'll need to open the roll feeder.
Slide the top piece forward and flip up the two roll holders. You can then flip up the small piece closest to the CAMEO 5 where the material will feed through.
The right side holder adjusts to accommodate rolls of various sizes. There's a 9-inch position, but there's also a 5.5-inch position.
