In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the process step by step so that you can make the ideal display box for all your DIY keychains.

Grab the display box design from the Keychain Crafts Design and Font Bundle over at so Fontsy.

Open the design in Studio and cut out the design using your Silhouette machine and thick card stock (80lb) using the default settings.

After the design is cut you will remove the excess card stock from the mat.

You will do this for each part of the box.

Then you will cut the clear part of the design. I didn't have transparency paper on hand so I used the next best thing, self sticking laminate sheets.

When you are done cutting you will have 4 pieces.

Begin by folding over at the perforated seams of the insert (in all the same direction).

Continue folding in for the main box.

Use a glue stick to gently add glue to the edges of the box.

And fold them in towards the center where the glue meets the base of the box.

Place the insert inside of the box.

To add some extra flair I used Washi tape around the main box.

Since the keychain I was using has a clasp hook and not a round jump ring I used a wire ring and taped it to the back of the insert.

Next it is time to make the sleeve. You will fold along the perforated lines and use glue to adhere the clear plastic.

To finish it off glue the last flap and fold it over itself.
