How to Find Free Sublimation Templates

If you are using Unisub sublimation blanks you can get free sublimation templates to match the substrate and cut down your work time - and waste!

There are literally dozens of free sublimation templates that make it super easy to download and then design in so you're printing in minutes!

Start by heading over to the Unisub template shop on So Fontsy. Every one of the free sublimation templates has a number on that matches the Unisub blanks so you can easily identify it.

Let's say you you're making keychains or pet tags with the Unisub Sublimation Heart Pet Tag Blank. That blank has an identifier of 4737.

You'll want to find the coordinating sublimation SVG template that also has the 4737 identifier. The template is free to download so just add it to your cart and complete the checkout. Most places do only offer the JPEG and EPS version of the template, but So Fontsy offers the SVG too which makes the templates super easy to use in Silhouette Studio (or whatever program you're using).

Add to cart and then download the free sublimation template and then unzip the file.

How to Open Unisub Sublimation Templates

Open the template in Silhouette Studio by going to File > Open and navigate to the SVG sublimation template. You'll need Silhouette Studio Designer Edition to open any SVG. You can use the JPG version of the template, but you'll need to trace it to make it editable in Silhouette Studio.

Don't change the size of the template at all. It's been created to perfectly match the size of the coordinating substrate with the green being the printable area and the blue being the bleed.

You can delete the text on the right, but don't change anything else.

These sublimation templates can be used with any type of sublimation printer including the Epson F570 sublimation printer or the Sawgrass SG500 or SG1000 sublimation printers.

I find this blog very informative. I was looking for free sublimation templates and could not find any good templates. But now, I think that I can find these amazing templates after reading your blog. On the other hand, I want to complete my thesis proposal because the submission is near.
