Vertical welcome signs have been a trend for quite some time...but you can use vertical designs for more than just wood porch signs!
Today I'm sharing seven other Silhouette project ideas using vertical designs from drinkware to leg ware!
You can get more out of your Silhouette cut files by using them in unexpected ways. Just because a Silhouette design you downloaded or purchased from So Fontsy was billed as a vertical sign designs or shown on a welcome sign mockup doesn't mean you can't use it in a totally different way!
Of course you likely don't want to put "Welcome to our Home" down your sleeve, there are many vertical designs that would be work for other long vertical surfaces. Here are 7 ideas for how to use vertical SVG designs.
Cutting Boards
Vertical wood paddle cutting boards with vinyl make awesome holiday and home decor. They're super easy and fast to make!
Sleeves and Pant Legs
Take the knee and elbow patch to the next level and add a full sleeve or pant leg design with HTV.
Tea Towels
Vertical designs look adorable on tea towels when placed to one side or the other.
Banners or Table Runners
Vertical designs scaled super large make perfect banners! Subway art style vertical designs specifically make unexpected banners and table runners.
Wine Bag
With their long skinny orientation, wine bags are the perfect substrate to use for vertical SVG designs..and who doesn't love the gift of wine for ANY occasion?
Teacher? New to the neighborhood? Valentine's Day? Thanksgiving?
Skinny Tumblers
Sublimation and vinyl on skinny tumblers isn't going away anytime soon. Want more than a center design but not a full wrap? Look how cute a vertical top to bottom design (or even better one of the same on each side) looks. I love how cute this hocus pocus design looks on a tumbler!
