As I've done every year for the last several on Silhouette School, I'm sharing a Silhouette Holiday Gift Giving Guide!
Whether you're looking for craft gift ideas for yourself or want to drop a hint or two to Santa...our 2020 Silhouette Gift Guide should be helpful.
This year holiday shopping - for Silhouette, craft, and pretty much all other items - is going to be different. The pandemic has created a massive divide between supply and demand..which is not only impacting availability, but could also impact the traditional holiday sales. With what's expected to be even more online shopping than in previous years, significant shipping delays are also expected. So here's my best advice...
Given what I know about the production and supply issues facing a lot of the manufactures in the craft world - my advice is shop early. More importantly, if you see something you know you want don't wait to get it because there's no guarantee if it goes out of stock (and it very likely will), that it will go back into stock before holiday.
Since March we've seen Silhouette, Brother, Cricut, Oracal, Sawgrass, Starcraft, Heat Presses and more all with supply issues. Even when they come back in stock, it's a very low number and then they're out again...and due to all of this we're not expecting to see significant sales on the usual Silhouette craft items this year.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday are usually huge deal days for Silhouette machines, tools, and accessories...but with basically all Silhouette tools out of stock, 24" CAMEO Pro machines in very limited supply, heat presses and Sawgrass sublimation printers bouncing back and forth between in stock and back ordered...I can't see a whole lot of significant savings this year. We may see some deals on Silhouette CAMEO 4 machines, Curios, or Portrait Bundles, but I don't think we're going to see the type of deals we've seen in years past.
So not to be Grinch-y but if you see something in stock that's on your list..you may just want to grab it, wrap it and put it under the tree for yourself.
Okay now let's get on with the 2020 Silhouette Christmas Wish List! I have put an * next to the name of the items which I own and use regularly.

Silhouette CAMEO 4, 15" CAMEO 4 Plus, 24" CAMEO 4 Pro
Of the three CAMEO 4 machines, I think there's really only a chance we'll see holiday deals on the 12" CAMEO 4 and probably not as significant as we've seen in past years.
If you want the speciality blades with whichever CAMEO 4 you go with, I would suggest you get a bundle that includes them as they are otherwise completely sold out.
