It makes a huge difference when making stickers with Silhouette and a wide format printer - allowing you to print and cut twice as fast on a single sheet of sticker paper.
When you print and cut on a 12" Silhouette CAMEO or a Silhouette Portrait the max print and cut area is 6.92" x 9.34 represented by the red area. You are limited to the printable area of an 8.5" x 11 sheet.
If you are using a CAMEO Plus along with a wide format printer, however you can print on wider materials including 12" x 18" sticker paper from Online Labels. With registration marks, the printable space on that size material is 15.12" x 10.54" - represented by the blue area.
That means you could actually take the same max-sized design you previously printed on a Portrait or CAMEO, rotate is 90 degrees and print and cut two of them on a single sheet of wide format sticker paper on the CAMEO Plus.
Here's a real life example of what this looks like when printing and cutting stickers on a Portrait or 12" CAMEO vs a 15" CAMEO Plus.
Tomorrow I'll be sharing step by step how to print and cut on Silhouette CAMEO Plus.

Interesting. I’ve printed too 12x12 and used the print and cut feature on my regular Cameo 2 several times.
