That means our most popular instant download and fully printable Silhouette ebook is now more than 200 pages (plus 4 Silhouette videos) and updated for the most recent version of the Silhouette Studio software!
Oh and the cherry on top is we rolled out a brand new Ultimate Silhouette Guide Series website...but I have a favor to ask!
We're hoping the new Silhouette School ebook shop - which you can get to from Silhouette School Blog or go to directly - is a little easier to navigate.
All 12 books I've written - including the five full length Silhouette books include a $25 gift card to So Fontsy to use in the Card Redemption area of the site. There are more than 1000 commercial use designs and fonts in this area to pick from!!
All Ultimate Silhouette ebook bundles are discounted by 10% AND include a $100 card to So Fontsy.
The one sad thing - and this is where I need your help - is that we were not able to bring over any of the Silhouette School ebook reviews from the previous site...sooooo I am basically begging you to review your ebook purchase - whether you bought it way back in 2015 or just this week! Just head over, find the guide or guides you purchased, click the "Review" tab, and give us a star and/or written review!
Silhouette School eBook Updates
We occasionally provide updates to our guides to keep them current with the software.
When there are minor updates, like in the case of going from V4.1 to V4.2 we offer free update chapters to those who have previously purchased relevant guides. We also incorporate those updates where appropriate for any further purchases. This keeps our Silhouette guides updated - and the price remains the same!
Last week we proactively sent a free V4.2 update chapter to anyone who purchase The Ultimate Silhouette Guide Second Edition for V4 - either individually or as part of an ebook bundle. If you purchased The Ultimate Silhouette Guide Second Edition for V4 but did not receive the update, please check your junk or spam folders.
When there are major updates to the Silhouette Studio software or a new Silhouette machine is released that requires a lot of education and therefore a lot of new information, we have to decide if a new edition or a new guide is warranted.
In the case of the Ultimate Silhouette Guide this has only happened one time - with the major update of Silhouette Studio from V3 to V4. The software changed so dramatically and in so many ways I released the Ultimate Silhouette Guide Second Edition for V4. In addition to updating all of the images and screen grabs from the first edition of the USG, we added information to cover all of the new tools and features and added 4 videos (over 100 minutes worth of video instruction). This is a second edition and is not a free update.
Silhouette CAMEO 4 Book
I have already been asked multiple times how we will handle a Silhouette CAMEO 4 guide. Right now...I'm not sure and I likely won't be until I start putting it together. My gut tells me the new Silhouette machine and the Silhouette Studio software changes to run it will be different enough from the older Silhouette machine that it will require it's own Silhouette CAMEO 4 book - but I'm not sure at this time if that will be a mini guide, a full length guide or an ecourse.
Are Silhouette School eBooks Worth It When Silhouette School Blog is Free?!
Yep Silhouette School Blog is free for you and the 50 million other Silhouette crafters worldwide who've read the 1800+ free Silhouette tutorials posted every.single.weekday since our January 2014 launch. We're able to keep the blog free - and in part support entire family on the income generated from the blog - from the ads (you all hate them, we know...but they're a necessary evil, I promise you!) and affiliate links shared on it. You're supporting us just by reading the blog...so THANK YOU!!
But the blog isn't in any type of progressive order and it's nearly impossible to print. So even though there's a search box on Silhouette School Blog (several of them actually) and of course you can search Google, YouTube, and Pinterest for free Silhouette CAMEO tutorials for days and weeks to come it's not always the easiest or most efficient way to learn. Early on we kept hearing the same thing: I want a printable book (with NO ads) that I can hold in my hand, dog ear, highlight, refer back to, and learn from in progressive order.
So that's how the Ultimate Silhouette Guide Series came to be...and in February 2015 I published my first guide and from there 11 more followed including the USG Second Edition for V4. Nowhere else will you find the amount of detailed instruction in logical progressive order with full color pictures as you will with my Silhouette guides. I've worked so hard to make sure the Ultimate Silhouette Guide books have all the Silhouette CAMEO tips, tricks, and tutorials organized and at your fingertips - so you feel like you have a Silhouette tutor sitting next to you!
With the The Ultimate Silhouette Guide 2nd Edition V4 and The Ultimate Silhouette Guide to Designing we even added video tutorials as well. These are the only in-depth and comprehensive Silhouette eCourses covering both the cutting machines and Silhouette Studio V4 (the software needed to cut with your Silhouette Cameo or Portrait).
Silhouette School Video Courses and Mini Paperback Guides
You can also find all of my Silhouette video courses and mini Silhouette guides on the site. These are sold in both paperback and digital format and are available exclusively through Swing Design so you'll check out over there.Note: This post may contain affiliate links. By clicking on them and purchasing products through my links, I receive a small commission. That's what helps fund Silhouette School so I can keep buying new Silhouette-related products to show you how to get the most out of your machine!

Thanks for leaving a comment! We get several hundred comments a day. While we appreciate every single one of them it's nearly impossible to respond back to all of them, all the time. So... if you could help me by treating these comments like a forum where readers help readers.
