The new Silhouette machines, products, and software features were announced today in Hawaii by Silhouette America! The complete list of new 2019 Silhouette products can be found below. But let's get right to the highlights - the Silhouette CAMEO 4 and the 15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus and 20" Silhouette CAMEO.
Silhouette CAMEO 4 Details
After three years without a new Silhouette CAMEO, the long awaited Silhouette CAMEO 4 has been announced and will start shipping in fall 2019. CAMEO 4 pre-orders have not yet started, but as soon as they do - Silhouette School will be the first to know!!The new Silhouette CAMEO 4 is a power house - unbelievably packed with features Silhouette users have been begging for as they eye something comparable to the capabilities of the Cricut Maker....but that runs on Silhouette Studio.
The CAMEO 4 is it - and more! It has dramatically increased downward force, speed, and the ability to use a new Silhouette rotary blade. 15" Silhouette CAMEO and 20" Silhouette CAMEO Details
And an even more highly anticipated set of larger Silhouette CAMEO machines have also been confirmed. The 15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus and the 20" Silhouette CAMEO Pro were announced. No details on when the larger Silhouette machines will begin shipping.

ReplyDeleteHi are they going to fix the saving issue on this new addition. I did an update and I can save the file into my library a okay but then when I go back to the design side nothing has changed it keeps say untitled and to save it. And that keeps repeating over and over and I’ve done all 3 different save options you’ve suggested and still does it.

ReplyDeleteThe saving issue was a known bug in the software and is fixed in the most current version on the silhouette America website
ReplyDeleteI have been waiting for you to post about updating to the latest version in the software. I know I read a while back that you thought we should wait until the usual bugs where worked out. Have you changed your mind? I am anxious to try some of the new features. Thanks for the updates on the new things coming.

ReplyDeleteI built my own DTG, I use my Oki 8432 for so many things, I print with my SG800, I love my Cameo 3 and I love my Graphtec CE 6000. I also screen print. I do this all at conventions right on the location.
A 20 inch Cameo would be absolutely incredible. Normally, I'm lugging around my CE 6000 and my Cameo 3 and having to use two computers, 2 softwares is actually, a nightmare. I
love my Macbook Air and that Silhouette Studio is operable on a Mac and with ease compared to the Graphtec. This is a game changer and I think is as well for The Cameo brand. I'll have two of the largest Cameo's right away please.

Hi! Do you by any chance know whether the crepe paper line they are releasing will be compatible with any or all existing machines? Or will it be compatible only with the CAMEO 4? It's been driving me crazy that I can't use my old Portrait for cutting crepe paper, and I'm hoping that the CAMEO 4 might at least cover this. From what I could tell, I haven't really seen anything indicating that the CAMEO 3 is capable of handling crepe.
ReplyDeleteI am honestly not sure. The crepe paper kit will come with a Kraft Blade, but they are also releasing a Kraft blade that will work with the older machines so there is a chance the other models will be able to cut crepe paper.
