The excitement around the Silhouette CAMEO 4 and 15" CAMEO Plus and 20" Silhouette CAMEO Pro continues...so I thought I'd share some additional photos of the new Silhouette CAMEO products.
It's important to realize that while the Silhouette CAMEO 4 features have been announced Silhouette America has not officially announced details of the new machine. Silhouette School obtained prior special permission to share details and prototype photos of the CAMEO 4 and other new 2019 Silhouette products with you including the Silhouette CAMEO Plus, CAMEO Pro, Silhouette Heat Press and Silhouette sheet feeder.

15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus
The number one question about the recently announced 15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus is what features will it have and is it just a wider CAMEO 4? Because of the timing in development of the larger Silhouette CAMEO, features have not been confirmed.
I can tell you this - during the Silhouette Summit announcement the larger machines were mentioned but NO details except their width and expected pricing were provided. But I can also tell you that the 15" CAMEO prototype I saw in action looked identical to the 12" Silhouette CAMEO 4.
I have spoken directly to several Silhouette execs and directors and all of them are cautious about confirming 15" CAMEO Plus features because they could still change based on how the machine performs in lab testing and quality assurance.
So with that in mind, here are some prototype photos of the 15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus
20" Silhouette CAMEO Pro
Just like the 15" Silhouette CAMEO, features of the 20" Silhouette CAMEO Pro have not been finalized or confirmed, but again the prototype looked identical to the 12" Silhouette
CAMEO 4.
Here is a photo of the 20" Silhouette CAMEO Plus prototype.

I wish they would put a short holder to lift the paper as I have a short desk and have to hold the paper up while it's cutting etc. ALSO would love to have guides for the paper each side to guide the paper in.
ReplyDeleteTry getting a clear sheet of styrene from Home Depot for $6. It's hard plastic that does what you're needing. Be careful as the edges and corners can be sharp.
