The Foil Quill was unveiled last week at Creativation and will hit the market - with three different size tips - in just a couple of weeks.
The craft gadget by We R Memory Keepers and available for pre order at Swing Design heats up allowing you to apply heat reactive foil to paper (and I'm thinking other materials) using your Silhouette machine!
Like sketch pens, the Foil Quill will result in an outline...unless you have single line designs or as most Silhouette crafters called them "sketch designs" or "sketch fonts". And that, my friends, if what I've created for you! A whole set of them. They're totally free too!!
I tested them out with my sketch pen making some little cards.
They turned out beautifully with the glitter gold pen, which of course has me dying to see how stunning the designs will look in foil!!
The full set is available free to download with the commercial use license in both .Studio format and SVG from out sister site So Fontsy. There's no coupon needed..just add it to your cart and checkout!
And if you're not into foiling you can also use these same designs for sketching, etching, and embossing! Keep in mind, they're not ideal for cutting.
