And all the Silhouette crafters raised their hands...
Since you all seemed to like my Silhouette Blade hat I made for Halloween, I decided to carry on the Silhouette-holiday tradition and made a 3D Silhouette CAMEO all decorated for Christmas. Yup, I totally made this 3D cut file from scratch....took me all morning - but I did it.
For this project I used Expressions Vinyl's Christmas pack and my favorite card stock along double sided tape and a couple of foam dots to give the lid some dimension.
The base of the CAMEO and the lid were print cut on cardstock.
The lights and touch screen were cut on the Series 31 vinyl.
After all the layers of removable vinyl were cut, I layered them together before applying to the paper CAMEO lid. Need a refresher on how to layer vinyl with Silhouette? This Silhouette CAMEO layering vinyl tutorial will walk you through the process step by step when using multiple colors of vinyl.
I then used double sided tape to put the 3D CAMEO together and used adhesive foam dots to apply the lid piece.
Before I taped it closed I used some thread to hang a few of my favorite Silhouette accessories and tools off the bottom of the Christmas Ornament. I mean...does it get much cuter?!
