BUT you also want to make sure that you - or whoever is doing the dishes - is hand-washing any items with vinyl on them. Adhesive vinyl is not dishwasher safe.
Do I sometimes slip a monogrammed wine glass in on the top shelf? Of course. Does the vinyl come off? No. But there's always the risk.
So when I make items that I give as gifts or sell, I always put a 'Hand Wash Only' sticker on the item, or on a business card that I slip in with the item, just to play it safe.
I created these Hand Wash Only sticker designs in Silhouette Studio awhile back and shared the tutorial on how to make your own - but I get lots of questions still so I thought it was worth giving you all the file so you're not re-inventing the wheel if you don't have to.

I didn't realize vinyl on glass had to be washed by hand. I did an intricate design, gave the mug to a friend who put it in the dishwasher. It came out an absolute mess! Thank you for the tags!
