How to Open Zip Files In Silhouette Studio

One thing I hear time and time again from people is that they've purchased a graphics bundle but they can't get the files to open in Silhouette Studio.

A lot of times when you get graphics bundles like this they come as a zip file...with all the individual files inside. Those inside files can be opened in Silhouette Studio - but the zip file can't. That's where the error usually comes in.

At this point, with the software still being tweaked, de-bugged, changed, and tested constantly I would not recommend Silhouette CAMEO or Portrait users take the free Silhouette Studio V4 upgrade.

Moving Silhouette Library Designs from the Cloud Folder to the Local User Folder

When Silhouette America released the Cloud-based versions of Silhouette Studio in 2016, the intent was to make things easier on users. Well....let's just say things may not have gone exactly as planned.  They're working on it.  One thing I hear over and over again - aside from the duplicates in the library - is the desire to move designs from the Silhouette Cloud to the Local User Folder.

Before I explain how this can be done with a workaround, let me briefly explain how the Cloud based Silhouette Studio is supposed to work.

One of the biggest challenges for Silhouette crafters is vinyl storage and organization - especially when you have a pretty hefty collection of vinyl and a pretty small craft room, work space, office or....dining room table.
