10 New Silhouette Products from 2016

Another year and another Silhouette cutting machine plus a bunch of fabulous new Silhouette related products, tools and accessories.

2016 certainly didn't disappoint when it came to new ways to use the Silhouette cutting machines. While I'm sure you didn't miss some of the big releases - hello, Silhouette CAMEO 3 - some items were quietly released.

So here's a list of 10 new Silhouette products from 2016 and a little sneak peek of what's expected to hit the market in 2017!

1. New Silhouette Sketch Pens - These sketch pens are filled with twice as much ink as the original sketch pens, but they're still the same size. They also come in more colors!

2. New Silhouette Light Tote bag - Silhouette released a new light-style tote bag that fits the Silhouette CAMEO 1 and 2 (but not the 3). The bags come in several different colors, but I have to say the Mint is my favorite. The fabric is a heavy canvas. I was super impressed with the quality of the bag!

3. New CAMEO 3 and Curio Dust Covers - Not that you're letting your Silhouette CAMEO 3 collect dust, but Silhouette CAMEO 3 dust covers and a dust cover for the Silhouette Curio were released this year. Great quality and an awesome price!

4. Silhouette CAMEO 3 - The biggest release of the year is the Silhouette CAMEO 3 which hit the market in late July.  The CAMEO 3 is Bluetooth enabled, includes a dual tool carriage, and is the only Silhouette cutting machine that is compatible with the new Silhouette Auto Blade.

5. Oracal Transfer Tape - Finally, a clear gridded transfer tape that doesn't leave a sticky residue behind and works perfectly with Oracal 651 Vinyl and Oracal 631 Vinyl.  It's available in sheets and on a roll and comes on it's own backing sheet making it easy to re-use.

Silhouette released several new cuttable sheet products this year including:  Scratch Off Sticker Sheets (6), Leatherette Sheets (7) , Chalkboard Cardstock (8) and Stencil sheets Non Adhesive 9 (I have yet to try #7, 8, 9 as they were just released this month) 

 

And finally #10 - I released a whole bunch of new Silhouette help products this year including 7 new Silhouette books and minis, 5 new Silhouette video classes and Silhouette U - our new premium membership site.
