Over the two day conference, put on my Terri Johnson and Silhouette America, I taught five classes to hundreds of amazingly talented and eager-to-learn Silhouette crafters.
When I wasn't teaching...I was selling books! Lots of them!
We also brought back the Silhouette School cookie raffle - back by popular demand.
It's always great to meet other Silhouette crafters...and of course get together with some of my favorite people in the Silhouette world!
In the vendor hall, Expressions Vinyl was on one side of us selling out of vinyl left and right...(And sharing some In 'N Out Burger with Bob!)
...while The Rhinestone World was on the other just blinging it up.
Swing Design was the Silhouette retailer and they had CAMEO 3's on sale along with lots of other fun stuff - including all my mini guides! Heat Press Nation, Theresa Collins, Chemica, Siser and Silhouette Life Inspiration Box were also on hand!
Lori Whitlock and Christine from Cutting for Business were also selling products along with teaching some awesome classes. Of course Terri Johnson, who somehow manages to organize two or three of these amazing conferences every year not only taught classes, but put on an amazing conference. No surprise there! Silhouette America tag teamed with Terri for the California conference and what an amazing one it was.
While I'm slightly sad to leave sunny California....(this was the view from our room at the conference hotel)....we're all getting set to do it again in just two short months!
We'll all be back in Peachtree City, GA when The All Things Silhouette Conference returns to the east coast in November 2016. Oh and more good news, Terri just announced All Things Silhouette will be held in both June and November 2017 - again outside of Atlanta.
And it wasn't all work and no play! We managed to squeeze some fun into the trip, too! If you ever get a chance don't miss Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, and Balboa Island!

All sounds great. But still waiting for a TEXAS conference!!!
ReplyDeleteMe too or Tulsa, OK!
DeleteTexas is a possibility. The issue is if we go to Dallas people in Houston will say we need to come there...there will be travel involved for some people no matter where we go. I travel for all of the conferences and just make a fun few extra days out of it!
DeleteI'm in Lubbock and absolutely willing to drive to Dallas!!
DeleteTexas people will just be happy you have come close! (Houston people will not get mad) I'll gladly drive to Dallas. Bring it!
DeleteWould love Dallas ❤️❤️

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your class, and getting to meet you!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your class, and getting to meet you!
ReplyDeleteWere you selling hard copies of your books at the conference?
ReplyDeleteCome to Austin, it's in the middle of Dallas and Houston. Equal drive or flight for all. I'm looking forward to going to the Atlanta one but would love for it to be in Texas.
ReplyDeleteHow about a central location, say Illinois??? As dreamy as it would be to take a trip to California or Georgia, some of us just can't afford trips that far away, but could make a more centrally located trip instead. Just a thought...
ReplyDeleteWell you know, Texas is bigger and better! I say come to Houston, Dallas and Austin!
ReplyDeleteIt would be awesome to the Pacific NW (Seattle area). Then you would be covering the 4 corners of the country!
ReplyDeleteNice post! Thanks for sharing

ReplyDeleteTime Management for corporate events is really important. Everything must be planned well in advance at seattle convention center. Success of corporate events also lies in communication which reach the minds of audience and for this we need a good "Anchor", who can communicate well with the audience.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this two-day conference was so fun and awesome! I'd wish that such kind of events were providing more often because it's a really great way to spend the free time for a student like me. It's a way better than trying to write some kind of reaction essay for college, I prefer to order it from writing service actually. Anyway, looking forward to the similar conferences, hope I won't miss them.
