How about 46 Silhouette-friendly fonts - all of which can be used commercially? I love so much about so many of these - especially because so many of them are handwritten or calligraphy style and fancy handwriting is not my game.
I also love that they all come with the commercial license which means you can sell items you create using these fonts! And remember, once you download and install a font on your computer
(with Silhouette Studio closed) it will automatically show up in your
font list the next time you open up Silhouette Studio.
My favorite though, hands down, is Springlane because it makes a beautiful monogram. (And who doesn't love an amazing monogram?) When using this one with Silhouette, I would definitely suggest putting a small offset - about a .01 or .015 around the original text to make it cut a little easier and lower the risk of tearing.
Here's the deal though....you get all 46 fonts in this deal for less than $30, BUT The Hungry JPEG deal is only good through the end of the month! Next month there will be another awesome deal...but I am sure it won't be as FONTastic as this one!
Thanks for coming to class today at Silhouette School. If you like what you see, I'd love for you to pin it!
These are gorgeous fonts!!! Thank you for sharing this deal with us.
ReplyDeleteI bought a package of fonts before and when I went to use them, I couldn't get my fonts to look like the words they had in the examples.
Do you have any idea why?
Hi Doxie, could you email us on hello@thehungryjpeg.com and we will help to sort that issue for you. I think this may be a letter spacing issue. Most software (Word etc) sets a default space between letters. If you type out any of these fonts with this letter spacing set to default, they will appear really wide apart.
DeleteYou just need to set your kerning to custom. There is a guide included in the original download, called "The Letter Spacing (Kerning) Guide". This explains how to edit kerning on every program required.
If you have any other questions still though, don't hesitate to email us on hello@thehungryjpeg.com
Thanks
McAfee is giving me site warning messages about going to Hungry JPEG--any advice for that?
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Stuart, I work in the customer service department here at TheHungryJPEG.com Thanks for your message. Apologies for this. I have spoken with the technical team here, and they have informed me the error is because of our firewall. This has recently been upgraded, to ward off hackers and other similar parties.
I can assure you the website is 100% safe though. I hope that helps. For any more questions, dont hesitate to email us on hello@thehungryjpeg.com
Thanks
I purchased this font bundle with Springlane in mind specifically, but it is not in the bundle.
ReplyDeleteI don't see "Springlane" as part of the bundle. Is the link correct? I would really love to purchase.
ReplyDeleteI think the font is called Queen caps
DeleteIt is Queen Caps, thank you!
DeleteDoes loading many fonts on your computer make Silhouette run slower? Also, I would love to see some examples of using these pretty script fonts as cut files. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI purchased and downloaded, but nothing is on my computer. Beyond frustrated. I emailed but so far, haven't heard anything, but it's not been that long since I sent the email.

I'm new to downloading fonts. How does this work? Do the files get loaded directly into your Silhouette program?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I love these fonts! Thanks for the great deal!
